I was skeptical about battery performance after reading some of the reviews, but so far I'm impressed by the performance. We only use one battery's worth of power on our 1/4 acre lot using the self-propelle half the time. Mowing our neighbor's yard on a hot day used up one battery and one line of the other. It is lighter to use, easy to start, and minimal noise. My 16 year old mowes the lawn and with the old gas mower he would be covered in sweat by the end, with this mower he hardly breaks a sweat. Great buy and I highly recommend it to others.
Not a lot of words needed to describe the Great PRO V60 Brushless lawn Mower. 1st- the battres provied more then enough energy to cut my corner lot. 2nd- the mower is light weight and with super mobility. 3rd it is helping me give my lawn the look of a gold course green. This is the best mower I have ever owned.
great mower thus far. has as much power as my old gas mower. I live in hilly country with slopes of close to 10 percent, and the self propel function that I can engage as needed at the flick of my thumb takes away the push. The self propel feature does have a variable speed function, also at the tip of a finger. The charger recharges the battery packs (both - simultaneously) in under 1 hr.
I was blown away by this mower! After winter hibernation, my gas mower was always cranky and difficult to start. This spring, I finally got tired of the hassle after spilling gas on myself (that smell lingers! ick!) and the driveway. I will never never go back to gas now. The mower started right up, purred away, and was so smooth and quiet, I felt like I was vacuuming my lawn! I could feel the power when I came to some thick patches of grass - rather than bogging down and stalling out like my old mower, it sliced right through without skipping a beat.
I took my mower to a large church property we are responsible for maintaining. The big lawn hadn’t had its first spring haircut yet, and I wanted to put my new mower through its paces. And boy was I impressed! The grass and weeds were up to my knees in some places and it had no problem giving a smooth cut. My daughter was using the gas mower at the front of the property - not only did it stall out several times, but by the time she was done, she had blisters all over her hands from the vibration of the mower. Seeing them work side by side on the same property made me realize just how great my new Greenworks mower truly is! I honestly wasn’t expecting it to be that powerful - I was just looking for the convenience of electric, but I am a true battery convert!
We have only owned the lawnmower a month. I would want to review the product in about 6months to a year to give an accurate review. currently we are very happy with the purchase. It is easy to start. I like the self propel option however it has a bit of lag when releasing the lever so you need to plan ahead. We have a very small yard. It takes about 30 mins to cut our grass. This will use one full battery and about 1/4 of the second battery. So not ideal for large yards in my opinion.
its the best mower I've ever had ,can't say enough good thing ,NO BAD things REALLY.the buying was excellent as well .ordered it and less than 48 hrs. it was setting in front of my garage. stan prineville oregon
I have the 25” 5 ah Greenworks mower as well without all the upgrades on the 21 inch 4ah batteries. The 5ah will run longer - the 21” cut gives my daughters yard a clean look! Not sure how accurate the battery indicator lights are, it will mow a fair amount of time when it indicates zero battery remains! Easy to store and put back into action! Just charge batteries / no mess no fuss! Highly recommend
