Greenworks hit a triple with this one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received my Zero two days ago. Everyone is right. It is difficult to get it out of the cage. I suggest putting 2x4s in the wheel dips so you don't damage the deck trying to back it out when the wheels slide. It has plenty of power and drives like a champ. The battery level goes down quickly. I have barely enough power to cut my yard almost an acre but have to definitely charge it after every use. This is the Tesla of lawn mowers as it is very fast. Overall a great product!

great for flat, not so good for hills/slopes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cuts LEVEL/STRAIGHT lawns amazing while being EXTREMELY comfortable to ride. Deck cleans easily and the rotating battery scheme works perfectly. HOWEVER, the drive train leaves a LOT to be desired with either turns or when climbing a cross slope. The rear end torque RIPS your yard up when trying to zero-turn (even when driving EXCEEDINGLY slowly and under control) but then it disappears when trying to climb a cross-slope (performs well STRAIGHT up a hill). My 12 year old gravely zero turn does NOT have any issue when climbing these same hills. EXTREMELY hard to maintain straight line cut when attempting to climb a dual slope hill. you also ride VERY high and the mower is top heavy to a fault -- upper hill front wheel comes off the ground too easily. takes a little getting used to.
Pros: Cost-Saver, Quiet, Environmentally Safe

Unreliable and annoying

I’ve now used the mower for two years. When it runs, it does a good job…but. It stall if you try to cut anything but low grass. Medium, tall, or wet grass clogs the blade and the motor stops with a beep. The only way I can restart the mower is to reach under and manually spin the blade. I have sharpened both blades twice. Now the self propel mechanism stalls the mower.

If the handle is not locked in place properly the mower will not start or stall out after a few seconds. Please try unlocking and folding down the handle and pull it back up until it clicks in properly. Always turn off the mower, remove the battery, and allow the blade to come to a complete stop before attempting to clear a jam or work on the underside of the mower. Great self propelled mower!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just used my new 60v 22" self propelled mower and in love. After using greenworks 40v 21"push mower for 2 years, this new model is so much easier and faster. I am 73 year old lady and pushing the old mower thru Florida grass in summer was taking me 4-5 hours to do my 1/3 acre house lot. Now I can mow the whole thing in under 2 hours on one charge of two 5.0 amp batteries. I used the turtle (slow) speed in the small front yard, but went a bit faster in the back, which is larger and has a slight incline. I like the 2 blades together, makes the mulch extra fine, no clumps all over like the old mower. See pics. Really nice clean cut and so easy to use.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Environmentally Safe, Powerful

After 1st mow of yard,
Impressed with the power of engine and has a button to make blade go faster to cut high grass. The battery lasted long enough to cut complete yard.
