Great mulching

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quick charge for batteries and they last. When mowing usually pine cones just get chopped and spit aside, this chewed it up. Good speed control and moves nicely over my bumpy yard.

Love this lawn mower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the features on this lawn mower. It is self propelled, 60V, automatic transfer of battery cell when one is used up, battery indicator lights, a large grass bag, easy to start, adjustable handle and it was on Sale. I was so tired of pushing a lawn mower up a slope, this one goes up with ease since it is self propelled! I can do my entire yard on one battery. Plus

Batteries are more than enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was worried about battery life having no experience with battery mowers in the past. I am almost able to my my entire 1/3 acre of lawn on just 1 battery - so having the 2nd battery I am never worried about running out of power to finish the cut. Even coming back to quite-long grass after vacation and using the turbo mode a lot it still got the job done on a single charge of the 2 batteries.
Pros: Quiet, Environmentally Safe, Effective
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not sure how auto switch works
on September 25, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product except for two things: it does bog down if I try to mow on number two AND it states it has automatic switch technology but I have to always switch the battery positions. It runs out one battery and starts beeping and won't start until I switch the batteries.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
Response from greenworkstools.comBy GreenworksSeptember 30, 2024
Hello SonnyM.

We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with the Auto-Switch Technology. When one battery dies, the other automatically takes over, seamlessly doubling your runtime without needing to swap them manually. Our Greenworks 60V mower senses extreme conditions to send optimal power to the blade motors, maintaining consistent blade speeds of 2,800-3,200 RPM through tall, thick, and wet grass. We recommend discharge the the mulch towards a previously cut area to prevent your mower from bogging down.

If you are able to record a video demonstration the concerns mentioned above and contact Greenworks directly, through Live Chat on Greenworks Tools website www.greenworkstools.com or call 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS). We would like the opportunity to investigate these issues further. Thank you.

Breath of FRESH AIR! gas-mower-owners listen up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Take a deep breath in my garage, no smell of gas! I already own Greenwork's 40V string trimmer, leaf blower, pole saw, and pole trimmer. Decided to add a mower to the collection. I was looking for a 40V, but this 60V caught my attention and the price was right at the time. More power can't hurt I suppose. This machine packs a punch, it chews through tall grass with ease. I was expecting it to be weak based on all the gas-mower owners, but I am glad I did not take their advice and took the leap of faith on this machine. It's light, easy to maneuver, and best of all no gas. Everyone with a gas mower has that smell of gas in their garage. Main reason I went with electric was to avoid that smell, and lower maintenance, reduce fossil fuel, safer not storing flammable liquids. The battery was also above my expectation. The 2 batteries were enough to mow my front and backyard with 1 whole battery left at full capacity. At most 1.5 battery if my grass is high.
Not having to swap batteries mid-mow is nice. The headlights were a surprise, was not expecting that to come on when it got dark. If you're wanting something light, powerful, and electric, this will meet your needs. I am saving up for the 40v edger next, using a string trimmer as an edger works, but it is tedious, and time consuming trying to get the line just right.
