Love this mower!

I bought this mower about two months ago and have been mowing twice a week in Florida and I have had no issues. I have a quarter acre lot and I use about 3/4 of 1 battery to double cut my yard. The cut is very good and it is comparable to my gas mower. The only downside is that when you use the self-propelled function and you stop you cannot immediately back up as it seems to stay in gear. If I move if forward a foot or so then I can back it up but that may just be me getting used to this machine. Outside of that, I find this to be an excellent mower and a great value for the money. I also find the build quality to be excellent and the Turbo option is very useful for mowing through some very thick St.Augstine grass.
Pros: Durable, Effective, Powerful

Not for the long haul

I bought this 2 years ago and has completely stopped working. After 1 year it started randomly dying in the middle of mowing and now will not turn on at all. Would not recommend this brand will most likely be shopping for another brand that will hopefully last longer.

Great first mow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I charged the batteries the day I received this product and spent the usual 65-70’ mowing my lawn. Cut clean, good variable speed control, and the two batteries with automatic switch-over got the job done with no need to recharge. Just what I had hoped for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Greenworks mower. Previous one was not self-propelled. It is now 10 years old and still working using the original battery. I am older now and needed the self-propelled function. This new mower has not failed me. Quality built, and the mulching is perfect!
For those persons who say the battery didn't do their whole yard as expected... sometimes you just have to recall if you decided to go back over the rows closer, etc. My yard is about a quarter+ in size. Sometimes I get it all done in an hour. Sometimes it falls a little short. No biggie to me.
I highly recommend this 60v self-propelled mower. My neighbor bought a 40v version and there is no comparison to the 60v Pro models. Spend the extra for the 60v Pro's. If this mower and batteries last as long as my original.... it will be truly amazing.
