I bought this mower with great expectations from the reviews. Horribly dissatisfied with the quality. New mower had dents, dings and scrapes. The over the top issue for me was the transmission did not release when pulling backward. Had to literally drag the mower backwards without any of the wheels disengaging. Cool concept failed in many ways.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The unit is self-propelled and will attempt to propel forward when the self-propelled lever is engaged. To pull the unit backwards you must release the self-propel lever. Loved how easy this is to set up and get started. I was mowing in no time. Also loved how light it is - which makes it easy to maneuver and push. Still, I'm glad I purchased the self-popelled version as that got me out fo the tight corners in my yard even though I didn't need it on most of my lawn. And finally, I was surprised at how quiet this is. Very nice to be able to listen to an audio book while mowing the lawn. I'm quite happy.

After fairly extensive comparisons, we narrowed down our search for an electric mower to the 60V Greenworks. The combination of run time/battery power, and features made it really stand our from the other options.
We've had it a few weeks, and so far it has been an absolute champ. We have a large area to mow (about 3/4 acre), and it does consume about 3 batteries, but the charging station refreshes quickly, and we've not experienced any lapses in our mowing time. Simply pop one battery into the charger, and keep mowing with the other.
The initial assembly was easy, and it arrived in perfect condition. The controls are very intuitive, and the ergonomics are reasonably adjustable. Love the headlight as well, in case you want to do some "night mowing"!
It's quiet, plenty of power, and a real pleasure to use.

I wanted to avoid gasoline and electrical cords. It does a great job and runs much quieter than gas or electric mowers.

Comes with two blades; mulching and high-lift. The high-lift blade is excellent at collecting leaves and bagging. The self-propelled feature is a strong, brushed motor with comfortable speed adjustment. The two 4Ah batteries provide enough to complete a full-sized lawn. And the dual-charger with cooling fans is magnificent as it charges both batteries under 1:15.
