Bought thus mower and was very excited about unpacking and getting it started so i could get my lawn mowed. To my dismay, I was unable to start it up d/t missing safety key. Have talked to store purchased from and was told we would have to purchhase one. Got online and ordered the only key i could find, got it to find it was not the correct one. Very frustrated because my yard is now out of control, have spent the time and money to try to make it work and still unable to get it to run. Will have to have grass mowed by nieghbor and more money out of pocket.

Hello JG428,
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with the run time of this battery when used in this lawn mower. It is important to adjust your mowing techniques to make the most out of the battery life! This unit is advertised as running up to 60 minutes with both batteries included, but it goes without saying that that the harder the unit works, the quicker the battery drains. Here are a few mowing tips to help achieve the optimal run time. 1) When cutting thick grass, reduce walking speed in order to allow for a more effective cut and a proper discharge of the clippings. 2) Only mow 1/3 of the total grass length at a time - no more. For a healthy lawn, always cut off one-third or less of the total length of the grass. The average lawn should be approximately 1 1/2 to 2” (3.8 to 5 cm) long during cool months, and between 2" to 3 1/4" (5 cm to 8.3 cm) long during hot months. 3) Mow when the grass is dry. As this is an electric unit, mowing wet/damp grass is a safety issue. However, ensuring the grass is dry will also help the grass cut cleanly and discharge appropriately. Wet/damp grass carries more weight and will mostly stick to the blade/motor shaft and will not appropriately discharge or cut easily. 4) Make sure the battery is cool before use. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. 5) Only use the self-propelled feature when needed. We hope these tips will help! If not, we would be happy to investigate to see whether your run time would be considered average; please contact Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline at 1-855-345-3934. All we ask that you have access to the unit so that we can complete troubleshooting with you and gather necessary unit information.

Leaves lots of uncut grass behind, especially on the sides so have to do again for clean cut.

Hello Dhaval Patel,
Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns.
When the lawn is being cut uneven, this can indicate a few different things. The first being that the lawn itself is rough or uneven. However, if this is not the case then it is possible that the grass is too tall, or the cutting height is set too low for the type of grass. Try raising the cutting height and reduce walking speed in order to allow for a more effective cut and a proper discharge of the clippings. Hoping these suggestions help. Should you require further assistance, please contact Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline at 1-855-345-3934.

So far, so good. I've only mowed my lawn a couple of times since purchasing. Worked as expected, easy to use and has the power to finish the job. Battery charges very quickly too.

Having recently bought a home that required me to cut my own lawn I needed to purchase a lawn mower. Being an advocate for electrifying cars to reduce carbon emissions I had to explore electric mowers. However, as I had mowed lawns in my teens and twenties, I was hesitant for I was still used to professional heavy-duty equipment. This mower is solid, has the power to cut high grass and even better the charge lasts mowing my lawn three times. (Very small lawn.) I would definitely recommend any product from Greenworks.

I have the 25” 5 ah Greenworks mower as well without all the upgrades on the 21 inch 4ah batteries. The 5ah will run longer - the 21” cut gives my daughters yard a clean look! Not sure how accurate the battery indicator lights are, it will mow a fair amount of time when it indicates zero battery remains! Easy to store and put back into action! Just charge batteries / no mess no fuss! Highly recommend

I’ve got 1/3 acre, batteries have plenty of juice, even if it gets a little tall. It’s light enough for my 10 yr hold to handle, and I love the quite operation.

I was expecting a wonderful electric mower and i wasnt disappointed. Exceeded my expectations in all categories and was happy with the self propelled feature which goes slowly before coming on to my sdt pace
