This mower was ready to go out of the box. Fast, efficient and sturdy unlike the competition which are made out of mostly plastic. Fast shipping and great warranty.

Had a Ryobi 40v for 5 years and this mower Is just so much better than I could ever imagine. So much more power, mulching actually works 10x better than the Ryobi and the quick charger charges faster than I can drink a beer to admire the great looking lawn. Just buy it, you will be so pleased.

Solid built quality mower. Batteries charge fast and hold their charge throughout the week. Pleased with the performance and operation. Only negative is the bag is smaller than my old gas mower.

I've mowed my lawn 4 times here in Ohio since I bought this Greenworks mower - Pro 60V 21" Brushless self-propelled Lawn Mower w/ (2) 4.0 Ah Batteries. I am very please with it so far. Hopefully it will continue to be a good move from my gas powered 21" Troy BIlt which it replaced.
Build: Mower is sturdy, yet light and has a comfortable height handle, (I'm 5'10") with intuitive controls.
Battery Life: I have a 0.7 acre, but only 1/3 acres of lawn when you subtract out the house, garage, driveway, deck, woods and foundation planting beds. Most of the lawn slopes gently away from the house. I use the self propel about half the time, only when on the uphill. Speed is set at 3/4. I like a longer grass cut and have mowed at the second Highest (5) and Highest setting (6) so far, the last time with some fairly damp grass. I am able to mow the 1/3 acres with one (1) of the 4.0ah batteries and still have a bit of charge left. Omitting the 2nd battery saves about 5 pounds to push or propel. I have not needed the Turbo setting yet.
Battery charge time: Batteries charge well within the 40 minutes charge time spec. More like 30 minutes each. I alternate batteries between cuts. It would be nice if the charger shut off when the battery is charged. You have to unplug it after charging or the fan keeps running unless you remove the batteries. Minor issue.
Cut: Very even cut with standard blade. I have not installed the other supplied High lift blade. All 4 wheels are set to be within the blade cut path which avoids missing the grass in the wheel tracks like on some mowers. I really like the single lever to adjust all 4 wheels at once. Wheel tracks are minimum due to the light weight of the mower itself.
Noise Level: It's quiet and I no longer need to wear ear plugs like with the gas mower.
Other: No gas, oil or stabilizer simplifies things.
Easy clean up and no need to worry about gas spilling out when you place the mover on it's side to clean under the deck. There is an easy to use battery safety lock out also or just clean after removing the batteries.
There is a small delay when you engage the self Propel mode which take a bit of getting used to.
I have not used the mulch bag yet, or tried leaf pickup.
Conclusion: Highly recommended. Wish I would have gone for the 25" model if it would perform as well.

Having owned many gas powered mowers I was skeptical about buying a battery powered mower, but as usual I had the routine starting and continual running problems with my last gas mower. Fed up with the same old problems I made the plunge and bought this Greenworks Pro 60V. It helped that this model was actually comparable in price to a respectable name gas power mower. I've used this for about 1 season now to cut my front and back yard (1/4 acre of fairly thick grass), which takes about an hour and 15 minutes to cut. This mower is very well balanced and I find myself not needing the self propelled assist at all. My son is quite a bit younger and he uses the self propelled function the entire time. Not using the self propelled will allow me to cut the front and back on one battery. Using the self propelled will use all of one battery and about 25% of the second battery. The charger is pretty fast in my opinion (I've been using cordless power tools for a long time and this is on par with everything i've owned). Note, the fan on the charger is fairly loud and remains on while the charger is plugged in, but its not overwhelming. The power switch between batteries is seamless and the handlebar (dashboard) battery life indicator is nicely designed. The deck adjuster is very easy to use (one hand) and the handlebar height adjustment and rubber padding is an ergonomic plus. The mower is made with good materials and tightly constructed. If I were to guess (as a safety professional) I would estimate the mower to be around 70 decibels (dBA) under load. No hearing protection needed, and I rarely say that. The added benefit of the low sound and vibration is that your hands and arms do not get fatigued after mowing for an extended time, and parts on the mower itself aren't as susceptible to getting loose. Best of all is the push button start (worth every penny). It doesn't boast the same power as many of its gas powered counterparts but it's sufficient and if you don't let your grass get ridiculously high you'll never have a problem. I don't see myself converting back to gas powered mowers after owning this and yes, I would recommend this mower as an excellent product.
