Generally love the machine

Generally, I Love this machine. The Battery life is good for my uses and lets me mow my entire lawn on the two included batteries. I have noticed that sometimes the power of the lawnmower and the speed (auto propelled) kind of turns off or slows down randomly without any out-of-the-ordinary load just for a second or two.
I also am not a fan that when releasing the self-propelled function, the wheels lock in the forward motion and I can not reverse unless I manually push forward for a bit which unlocks the wheels and allows me to reverse.
I'm making due with these quirks and I generally love the machine but buyers should know of these quirks.

I had to remount the wheels as they were mounted incorrectly. Also wonder why I cannot clean underneath with a water hose- cleaning by hand is difficult.

For safety reason we would not advise using a hose to clean the underside of our Greenworks mowers. We do advise that you clear off /wipe off grass after each use by using a cloth to wipe it down. This will help reduce build of mulch/debris. Exposing the mower to water can potentially damage the unit and cause other safety issues. We hope this information has been helpful. "Look Ma! No MAN!" Perfect mower for a woman!

I am so happy with this mower! I do not need anybody to help me start it, no pull-cord start, and it runs smooth, reliably, and does everything a gas mower can do! We have a big yard, and one charge does the whole thing! When the neighbors saw me using it, I shut it off and yell, "Look Ma! No MAN!" and then pushed the button and off I went! It charges a lot faster than I expected. I wish Greenworks made a snowblower! That baby would be at the top of my list for this winter!

Excellent mower, it does an amazing job! Battery technology has come a long ways. Love that the mower is lighter than my previous gas powered one; even though it's not self propelled, it's easy enough to push around.

I was skeptical at first of using an electric lawn mower thinking that it just wouldn't be powerful enough to handle the job. Boy was I wrong! It worked just as well as a gas mower but without all the noise, pollution, gas hassles. The batteries worked as promised as well! I am very happy with the purchase. One item that could be improved upon is being able to have the top handle slide into the lower handles so that a shorter person can have a more ergonomic position than just the one alternate height setting.
