This is our experience with battery powered lawn equipment. After much research of the various brands and offerings, we decided on the Greenworks 60V 21” self propelled with 2 4ah batteries. To say the least, it has surpassed our expectations. We have a good sized lawn with varied growth levels. The mower handles them all. It’s relatively quiet compared to a gas unit and best of all, no running to the gas station to fill up a five gallon can when we want to mow. Just recharge the batteries after each use and you’ll be ready to go next time. Very glad we made this purchase.

Quiet, easy to use & handle. Pretty much one battery pack handles up to 90% of my yard before it needs to switch over. Does a great job at cutting the grass. And since getting my trimmer, I have named them both after the comic duo, Laurel & Hardy. Laurel is the trimmer and Hardy is the mower.

I am so happy with this mower! I do not need anybody to help me start it, no pull-cord start, and it runs smooth, reliably, and does everything a gas mower can do! We have a big yard, and one charge does the whole thing! When the neighbors saw me using it, I shut it off and yell, "Look Ma! No MAN!" and then pushed the button and off I went! It charges a lot faster than I expected. I wish Greenworks made a snowblower! That baby would be at the top of my list for this winter!

Generally, I Love this machine. The Battery life is good for my uses and lets me mow my entire lawn on the two included batteries. I have noticed that sometimes the power of the lawnmower and the speed (auto propelled) kind of turns off or slows down randomly without any out-of-the-ordinary load just for a second or two.
I also am not a fan that when releasing the self-propelled function, the wheels lock in the forward motion and I can not reverse unless I manually push forward for a bit which unlocks the wheels and allows me to reverse.
I'm making due with these quirks and I generally love the machine but buyers should know of these quirks.
