I have had back surgery and could not handle my gas heavy lawn mower any more. This lawn mower is an answer to my prayers. Learning curve took two times using it and now I have it down. Love that it folds up and stores in my garage along the wall.

I tend to use push mowers for trimming in the tough-to-reach areas as mowing 3.5 acres with a 21" mower isn't an enjoyable prospect. Firing up my old 4-cycle gas mower to trim after getting off the tractor was not always easy especially since using the push mower wasn't an every-mowing-event occurrence. With the Pro 60V dual-battery Greenworks, it's easy to push the button and get to mowing. I elected to switch to the high-lift blade as my trimming often occurs around trees where the grass (and weeds) have grown up a bit. So far, provided I don't mow with the grass wet, the mower has worked quite well. I really like the feature that I can have the mower propel itself to another part of the yard without running the blade to save power. From my limited use, I've been getting a bit over 60 minutes of cut time, mostly in self-propelled mode, from two fully-charged batteries. I also like that Greenworks includes the batteries and charger in the mower kit. I also really appreciate two other features: (1) all wheels can be adjusted with one lever, and (2) the handles can be easily moved to a storage position from the mowing position by just pulling back on two embedded latches in the handles. If the batteries last a long time and the mower continues to prove its ruggedness, it might be my favorite push mower I've ever used. I noticed that a spare "high-lift" blade wasn't available yet on the Greenworks web site; would appreciate making one of those available soon.

I believe generally it's a great product. But I might have received a dud battery. First 5 minute, all beeping, and no more charge in 8 minutes. When I plugged it back to the charger, it is with the RED indicator, I don't think it's a good signs. I tried to charge it a few more time, sometimes it's green and sometime it's red. Initiated a call with them, but two weeks, no reply.

Hello RH L
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about the experience you have encountered with the battery. Here are a few troubleshooting suggestions to check out. 1) When the battery is inserted, the light should begin flashing green to indicate the battery is charging. If this light is not igniting or is flashing red, this may indicate an issue and we would be interested in hearing more about this. If the light simply goes solid red, try removing the battery and unplugging the charger for about 10 minutes and place them both indoors in a room temperature setting, as this might indicate the battery is at the incorrect temperature to be charged. 2) Ensure that the battery has been fully inserted into the charger. Sometimes this requires a firm push into place to make sure that it has been properly seated. 3) Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction. We are happy to hear you have imitated a inquiry to our Customer Care department. Mower works well and cuts and bags grass good. The only item I see right now is when I release the self propel it Thales a few seconds for the wheels to be released so I cannot push mower until wheel is released.

I've used the mower 3 times and for the most part, love it. It's light, quiet, and has plenty of power. I love that it stores upright. My yard is between 1/4 & 1/3 acre and there is more than enough battery life to do a mowing. The batteries don't seem to take long to charge either. My only complaint and it's very minor, is that I don't think it mulches the grass quite as much as I'd like.
