I was really impressed with this lawnmower and what it was able to accomplish. Our lawn had gone about three weeks and was also covered in leaves. This lawn mower was able to cut through all of that with ease. It's really light, easy to maneuver, was easy to push without needing to engage the powered wheels at all (flat-level lawn), and the battery lasted long enough for the whole yard in one go (1/3 acer).
The downsides are that the bag is SMALL so you have to empty it a lot if you're bagging, the handle doesn't fold down to store easily, and it didn't cut as well as a gas mower.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Solid Mower

This mower is solidly built and has plenty of power. I like the 2-position adjustable handle. Storing the mower is a breeze. Just press the buttons on the handle and fold it over, then lift the mower on its end. It only needs about 2 feet of space to store it in a garage or shed. Four stars (but not a game-changer) because the built-in cooling fan in the battery charger is somewhat loud and the LED headlights on the mower stay on and can't be turned off (hoping the LEDs don't put a drain on the batteries). I own 3 other 60V Greenworks products (blower, string trimmer and hedge clippers) and very pleased with them, so I'm expecting the same good performance from this mower.

I bought this mower at the beginning of last summer. This is by far the best mower I have ever used. Its works great for my front and back yard. I look forward to getting more Greenworks equipment in the future. 5 Star rating from this Greeworks owner.

Used it twice so far. With the steel housing and batteries, it's probably just as heavy as our gas mower. Battery life is great ... takes about 45 minutes to cut our yard, and it just switches to the 2nd battery at the end. The batteries charge quickly also. Have only used the self-propel a little bit, but it did not seem to shorten battery life much. The cut is great with only one quibble ... the front wheels are set well forward of the housing, so you won't be able to cut very close to anything in front of you. Overall, very pleased.

I love this machine! I like being able to pop the batteries in and off I go. The mower is very quiet, I noticed I could still hear the birds in the trees while I was cutting the grass! No gassing up, no oil changes, jut plug in and go! The batteries take ~ 1 hour to charge fully and I am able to mow the full yard twice on one charge. My property Is small ~ 7,500 sq ft. There is only one minor drawback for my personal taste. On the highest deck setting the mower cuts the grass a little shorter than I would like. I prefer to keep my grass ~3 in in length and the highest setting cuts to ~2 in in length. Not a deal breaker though. Happy with this purchase!

I have a fairly large lawn so I was concerned a battery powered mower wouldn't give me a long enough run time. My lawn could take 1-2 hours with my old gas 21" mower depending on the grass length. So far (early spring) I've only drained one of the batteries during a single cutting. This bodes well for a thicker lawn as we move into later spring. I also love the vertical storage and lightweight for pushing. The self-propelled drive works great too. If the batteries last me several years I'll be ecstatic!

I’m glad I made the switch from gas to this electric mower. It’s so quiet and has no issue mulching my yard. The self propel switch feels a little flimsy and gets stuck here and there, but not a big enough issue to take a star away. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to make the switch.
