[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After many years of using a gas mower, I decided to give this 21-inch, 60V Greenworks mower a try. It does a great job of mowing my very thick St Augustine lawn. It mulched the thick grass into fine particles that disappeared into the lawn. Best of all, it's so quiet! No need for the earplugs I've used for years with the gas mower. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I have had the 60v Greenworks 21inch mower for about a month. Battery run time excellent. Grass cut, power, mulching, all excellent. I use the mulcher bag with mulch blade. Bag is rather small and requires a couple of emptying for a half-acre yard. Takes a bit of getting for controls especially for backing up mower under trees, but once your familiarized no problems! I give this mower 5 stars. SO il and gas, no cranking. What a relief.

So far we've mowed our yard twice with this mower and are happy with it. It takes about two and a half charges to do the whole thing but it is definitely more than 3/4 of an acre! Plus, a significant portion of the mowing is the sand mound/leach field of the septic system, so a lot of slope! It does handle that slope incredibly well. If you are like me and thought battery powered mowers were just for golf course-like lawns, nope, this little fellow seems pretty rugged. It's also pretty light and agile so the flat (or sort of flat) parts of the yard, I release the self-propelled and just use it as a push mower. Hopefully that's giving me some extra battery life. As for the self propelled function, it has a nice little control on the handle so I can slow it down for thick spots, then speed it back up as the grass thins.
Pros: Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Quiet

I like that you can see the battery charge levels up at the handle. It is also a good feature that you can switch between self propelled to regular by letting up on the handle. The self propelled speed feature can easily be controlled at the handle also. Great to use with thick grass and on hills.
