[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased one of these for my daughter's place to make it easier to mow. Used it for a few days and enjoyed it so much I bought another one for our home. I've owned a number of top of the line gas and battery mowers. I've always had problems with the battery ones- batteries fail, very poor suction even with high lift and the self propel motor makes a terrible high pitched whine. This dual blade 60 v Greenworks unit is sturdy, mows well, has plenty of power, makes a much less obnoxious noise in self propel. The Greenworks is a great value when compared to other high end brands. It has really large wheels making it easier to maneuver, and the battery life has been excellent. It also mulches the grass into very fine pieces and leaves no clumps even in wetter or thick fescue and Bermuda. Very impressed so far. No long term experience but initially it's an enjoyable and very capable mower.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as my first push mower. It does the job but definitely came in a bit short on battery power. And never let your grass get out of hand because it won’t be able to handle longer grass. It says mow half an acre but I have less than that and a house and it still couldn’t quite mow it all in one go. The additional batteries are so expensive it makes upgrading to a second battery a tough decision.

Impressive lightweight mowing experience with endless power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 32 acres and 5 that I maintain. I needed a quick and reliable solution for the hard to reach places that I can't use the bigger mowers on. After one use, I'm fully impressed. I normally just mow the hard to reach areas but thought I'd just mow until I ran out of battery but that never happened. First, the lightweight mower doesn't require the self propelled drive except for up-hill which is a power saver in and of itself. Second, with the dual 4Ahr batteries, I opted to start charging one instead of leaving it depleted in the battery bay of the mower. The leap-frog use/charge cycle kept up. In other words, by the time I used the second battery the first was fully charged and so on... It was great to know that I can mow a lot more than just the "hard to reach" spots since I enjoy the mindless exercise and nice clean look that only a push mower can provide. I know in time there will be some degradation in battery life and I'll probably have to throw another battery into the rotation but I'm very very pleased from the get go. Finally, the ugly: I only have one "con" and that's the way the self-propelled system "holds on" to the wheels after disengaging the drive. You do have to give it a little jolt to get the drive to release if you want to push it freely (or reverse) but I'm sure I'll get used to that little extra step and it will become second nature. That said, unlike my gas self-propelled dinosaur, when this one is not in drive mode it pushes with zero resistance; unlike most other self-propelled mowers that push "hard" when the drive is not engaged.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy setup. Just wish the charger held 2 batteries at once - anxious to start mowing.
