Love Greenworks products

I bought this on 11/15/25 because my other greenworks 60v self propelled double battery handle stopped extending. One side will release but not the other therefore I can’t put it in the up position to mow the grass. I hope this mower doesn’t do the same thing after a few years.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Environmentally Safe, Powerful

Works Better Than Expected -- It's a Keeper

I have an average size city lot. I was a little hesitant from reading reviews, here and elsewhere, suggesting that the battery life was disappointed, but I am not disappointed. Last week, it did my lawn great. I forgot to charge when done. This week, it did about 80% of my lawn with the still uncharged battery. I have the 60v 5A battery that came with my self-propelled mower. I'm happy. I really can't think of anything I'd change about this mower.

PROS:
I've only used mine only four times now so I can't talk about long-term durability. BUT--this mower is well-built, strong and quiet. It's nowhere near silent but it is much quieter than gas movers, much quieter than a passing motorcycle. The self-propelled control lets you set it for your own walking pace. All of the accessories fit well and seem well-made. Overall, it's very easy to use.
CONS:
The drive takes 2-3 seconds to slack off pushing once you release the control bar. Be aware of that and cut the drive before you try to make a U-turn.
My battery endurance is in the 30-40 minutes range, not 60 minutes. I use the drive on my sloping yard going uphill, and coast downhill to save battery. My mowable grass yard covers about 0.35 acre and I'm buying a second battery so I can finish in one pass.
Finally, it would really be handy if it had a reverse capability. I can see there might be safety concerns but it would sure come in handy.

Thank you for your detailed response. The run time will vary depending on the amp hour (Ah) of the battery being used and the condition of your lawn. A 2.0Ah battery will provide the least amount of run time at approximately 20 minutes and the 5.0Ah will provide up to 60 minutes of run time.

Easy to maneuver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GreenworksTools Self - propelled mower is very much coming in hamdy around my yard. I have too much to mow the whole yard with, but some parts grow quicker than others and this mower is perfect for tidying up the areas close to the house. I am not very strong, and I found it easy to "drive". I mowed for about 45 minutes and the battery was still going. It is compact and easy to store out of the way. Of course, the best feature is not having to use gas! I don't know how many times I have had to go to the store to get gas for my husbands mower! So convenient. The cut is clean and even. This is really a mower that you can feel good about using. It's very clean and I'm so excited to have another option that I can use instead of depending on others.

It was easy to assemble, I love that I do not have to pull the string for it to start! All the ones I’ve owned are the
pull strings. All I had to do was push a button and it was ready to go! Super powerful!Great looking yard!makes my life so much easier. I love that it has the LED headlights. With it being winter the sun goes down fast so I’m able to use the headlights and still know where I’m mowing. Best thing, no gas! This is a must have!! I highly recommend this!

So convenient and durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this cause it’s getting harder on me with age to keep up with my yard , boy was I surprised the best thing I purchased in a while with it’s self propelled it makes it so much easier and doable ! No more trips to the gas station to get gas during middle of cutting grass , and it’s cordless that is a big plus also and the battery holds a long charge and has a very beautiful cut on lawn and with the bag ! This product is awesome great quality! Definitely worth the money easy Maintenance and makes cutting grass enjoyable and very doable I highly highly recommend this product !
