Side Discharge port is poorly designed

Bought this mower and am generally happy except for the side discharge port. The chute sits under the closure with no locking mechanism and thus sits precariously and often shifts and clogs the blades.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After researching several self-propelled battery-operated mowers, I purchased this one a year ago. It does everything the manufacturer says it will do. It is lightweight enough that I push it most of the time, but use the self-propelled assist when necessary. I also like the sensor for extra power when encountering thick or higher than normal grass. It is easy to operate and easy to clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Needed a mover and was going for electric so my kids don’t have to deal with gas. Man, this was better than expected. No patches when cutting, reliable, easy to use! And is it ever so quite too. Overall amazing electric mower.

Best Lawn Investment Ever

I've had the mower for this first spring/summer season, and am I impressed and happy. No more spark plugs, gas, or oil changes. The mower starts first time-every time and is the easiest to adjust for lawn height. The battery lasts at least 45 minutes even when it revs up to cut through heavy grass. The battery charges from completely dead to full in about 2 hours. Also the self-propelled feature with variable speed works great when going up small hills or just assisting at the end of a mowing session. The bag or mulching plate go on and off easily .... am very happy with this purchase. Great feature-environment friendly!

Purchased Spring 2020. Bought dual battery capability since I didn't know if one battery was enough for 1/3 acre. The included 5 amp actually is all I needed to mow front and backyards. Mower is light enough that I actually only used the self propel feature on inclines. Love not having to deal with gas, oil changes, air filters, spark plugs, etc., and much quieter. Just charge the battery and away you go. See no difference in cutting capability from my previous gas powered mower.
