I am enjoying not having to worry about a load and smelly gas mower anymore. Cuts just as well as a gas mower and I like the adjustable speed. Could be a little sturdier though. When I go over small bumps it jumps around without the grass catcher on.
I did extensive research when I was looking for a cordless mower. I wanted all my lawn equipment to be powered by the same voltage battery to make yard work more efficient. Easy to assemble right out of the box and get up and running. I can do all my weed eating, mowing and blower clean up on one battery. Also, I don't have to mess with gas and oil anymore and the biggest surprise is how quite this machine is. I would highly recommend this product to others.
I’m so glad I purchased this mower. I was afraid the battery wouldn’t last but it still had power after I completed my front and back yards. It ran for just over an hour and was easy to assemble and operate.
My first electric battery powered mower. It's self propelled which makes it even better. I was cutting the yard a two ladies getting their walk in told me that was the quietest mower they had ever heard. Light but powerful enough. It came with battery and I brought an extra battery and blade.
I just bought this mower 5 days ago. Out of the box assembly was extremely simple. Left the battery to charge overnight and used it the next day. It is so light that the self propelled feature isn't really necessary on level open areas. Oddly quiet after the old Briggs & Stratton machine. Seemed to cut just fine. The only thing that bothered me about it was that, during assembly, the screws that fasten the handle tended to bind up on the loctite in the threads before they were tight on the handle and the plastic recess around the nut was not a tight enough fit to keep the nut from turning with the screw.
First off, I wish Greenworks included the 6ah battery instead of the 5ah. You get a LOT more runtime out of that battery compared to the five amp hour battery. Second, I bought mine at Lowe’s for $432. for just a little more I could’ve bought the kobalt 80v mower that has more power than this mower(btw Kobalt and Greenworks are pretty much the same). So if you want more power, I highly recommend buying the 80V mower instead of the 60v. Third, now that I’ve got that out-of-the-way I love the headlights on this mower! I was mowing at night and I could see everything clearly, unlike the 3rd gen EGO mower that also has headlights but are useless. And lastly forth, this mower still has some good power. I mowed down some really tall/thick grass, and it handled it great! Although I had to double cut it, it still did great. In the future I plan to run the mower on 2 6amp batteries to get as much runtime possible.
