After owning the mower for about 2 months, I am very pleased. The batteries will cut my yard with about 2 lights remaining on one. This is true after using one battery with my trimmer before mowing and using my blower after mowing. I would describe my yard as an 'average suburban size lawn'. It's not small, but not huge either. My only negative would be that the wheels lock when moving backward after using the self-propel feature. You need to move it forward slightly after stopping to unlock the wheels. It's not a huge deal, and I'm getting more used to it now, but it can be annoying.
It's been great so far - time will tell. Hopefully, the batteries will last a long time.

These batteries are great as are your products! We have your hedge trimmer, blower, and grass trimmer. The lawnmower was a gift for our daughter and her husband! They love it! They have a fairly big yard and mow it on one battery!

Became a first time home owner and went looking for a mower for our 3/4 acre lawn, and boy did this thing get a work out! Behind the fence line there was wild grasses about 3ft tall. I used the Greenworks 60V weedwacker to knock it down to about 8 inches then mowed the rest after my whole lawn was already mowed. The two batteries lasted me over an hour and a half and it was easily on Turbo for over thirty of those minutes. Would recommend to anyone looking for an electric mower system

I absolutely LOVE getting rid of my gas lawn and garden tools and this mower was the final thing. After 4 cuts I can confidently say this electric mower is “good”. There are so many positives like battery life, ultra-low noise level, maneuverability and how great it folds against a wall. The one negative? It doesn’t cut grass well! First I thought I let the grass grow to high.”, but every cut is the same - it caustic most of the grass while leaving random blades, even small clumps unscathed. Frustrating. Bottom line - it bugs me but I love not having a grass mower more.

Old school and stubborn!!

I'm old school and stubborn and refused to consider battery power. But after years and years of getting gas, oil, filters, carbs rebuilt etc I finally gave it a try. I will never, ever, go back to gas. I purchased the 60v 21" self propelled mower and have never been this happy with any mower in my life. Super quiet, cuts perfectly. I have never needed the turbo mode and find it glides so easily I rarely use the self propel. I am now a Greenworks customer for life!!

Quiet and powerful

I bought this mower to replace the gas burner I've had for 12 years or so. Right out of the box it impressed me. Assembling the handle was quick and easy. Charging the two batteries for a little less than an hour and I was mowing. The controls are well placed and easy to get used to. The height adjustment is done for all 4 wheels with one lever that is very easy to operate. And quiet! Quieter than our vacuum cleaner. The cut is clean and level. Oh, and a pleasant surprise was that there was an extra blade taped inside the box. It has a turbo mode for heavy grass , but it seems to be smart enough to adjust to normal changes in grass height. There are two battery slots, and the mower will switch over when one battery is discharged. The adjustment for the self propelled feature goes from a leisurely pace to a brisk one.
