Great mower! I have a very thick tall fescue turf in my yard. I mow at 4 inches every 2-3 days in the spring. This mower does a very nice job if I side discharge and run it on turbo 100% of the time. If I can’t mow because of weather or my schedule, and I have to cut more than 1 1/2 or 2 inches off it can bog down. I rarely bag my grass but this mower did a good job at that. Just can’t mulch. 2 fully charged batteries will not complete my 1/3 acre yard, but I charge the first dead battery while I continue to mow with the second battery. Once summer and dry weather gets here this mower will breeze through this yard. Haven’t mowed at night yet but I will this summer.

The mower is easy to use, versatile and relatively quiet. It doesn’t put any poisons in the air. It is possible to maneuver it over the many tree roots in my backyard. The batteries are easy to place and last enough time. The price was reasonable and it will be paid for in a little over a month with the money I don’t pay someone else to mow.
I am 82 years old and I hadn’t mowed since I could no longer pull the cord on my gasoline powered mower hard enough to start it.
I am happy with my Greenworks mower!

I am very happy with my Greenworks mower. It is quiet, energy efficient and does that job well. The grass had grown to about 10 inches since our observance of "No Mow May' and it did the job brilliantly!

I've used it 3 times now, and my neighbors borrowed it once, think they might be buying one now too. Works great, plenty of battery, power. Super versatile with bagging, mulching, and side discharge.

Great for yards under .5 acres

TL;DR I would recommend this mower to anyone with a small/moderate yard. Extra batteries will make the job easier.
I’m not one to write reviews but I figure it’s only fair at this point.
I’ve been slowly compiling an arsenal of 60v tools, and recently picked up this mower. I was out of town when it arrived, and decided to mow the in the afternoon after a morning rain. I attached the high lift blade (wear gloves and have a stop block handy), and I’ve gotta say I was pretty amazed at the results. I had quite tall grass which the mower cut down to the 3 setting with ease. I switched batteries once, just over halfway through, though I believe if I was cutting in dryer conditions I could’ve made it further.
Using the mower itself: PROS
- PRO The self-propelling function is nice, but not always needed as the mower is surprisingly light.
- PRO This thing is quiet! I usually wear ANC earbuds when mowing, and it wasn’t until 1/3 though that I realized I hadn’t popped my buds in. Very impressed with that
- PRO being able to rinse the mower with my hose while standing it upright was exceptionally useful. Also being able to store it upright saves a lot of floor space.
- CON Turning the mower isn’t the smoothest operation, and it’s the only thing keeping me from giving this mower 5 stars. Having a slight pivot in the wheels would help a lot but I’m sure it could lead to issues.

OVERALL: This mower is awesome.

so far so good, but can't figure out how to run it without headlights

Used it a few times and it seems to run well. But the instructions for turning off headlights are essentially to turn off the machine. How do we run the machine without using the headlights?
