I have been using the self-propelled 21 inch 60V greenworks model with 2 of the 4Ah batteries for about 2 weeks. Since it is winter, I cannot comment on how it works during the actual growing season. In my area, tall fescue grass predominates, which is a colder weather grass. It stays green during the winter with slow growth. I have not cut my lawn since late October so it is somewhat long. Unboxing and assembly of the mower was easy; there was an extra mower blade in the box. The batteries charged to full in about 4 hours. Start up was simple and the mower is quiet, relative to a similar size gas powered model. I did not notice any loss in power in some thicker areas of the lawn. Again, this time of the year is not typical. I did cut about 3 inches of the lawn with no hiccups. I was able to get about 80 minutes of mowing time, which was more than enough to cut my 3/4 acre yard. I am fully satisfied with my limited use over 3 weeks and look forward to testing this fully in a month or 2 when it gets warmer. I would recommend this mower to any one looking to replace their gas mower or changing to a more environmental friendly option.
Bought for daughter so she wouldn’t have to mess with a gasoline motor. Mower is very simple and well built. She’s excited about caring for her lawn and loves the green.
Works decent but mulching isn't very good, leaves really big chunks. Also I am a little confused by the extra high lift blade, and what it is for. Can't find any info on it anywhere including the greenworks website. Even if I wanted to buy another, it is nowhere to be found.
I bought this mower at the beginning of last summer. This is by far the best mower I have ever used. Its works great for my front and back yard. I look forward to getting more Greenworks equipment in the future. 5 Star rating from this Greeworks owner.
