Yes, I am a real person and this is an honest review on my new 60v buddy. I decided to get rid of my gas powered lawnmower, so I started researching the battery powered mowers on the market. I knew I needed a 21" mower, but my biggest concern was the battery power needed to finish my whole lawn. Well, folks I am Soo happy I made the right choice. This 60v model came with 2 - 4ah batteries, however, they are powerful enough that I only use one battery to do my whole lawn. Wow, I am so happy. I have overall a little over 10,000 sq of land with approx. 7000 that is lawn. I really expected to use both batteries since this is a self propelled mower. So thanks Green works for making a great product. Your product has solved my problem, and that makes me a happy camper. I have included a photo of my 60v buddy happily standing guard in my garage.

I previously owned a 40v Greenworks unit. This 60v mower is much improved. It is more sturdily built and the battery charge is longer lasting. So far, I am very pleased.

Really happy with our new lawn mower, the cut is clean and the self propel feature helps a lot my wife, I am 53 and still can push it but some day I will need it too. This new house has a really big yard so the batteries run out before we finish - I am planning to buy another set to have them ready - highly recommended - very low noise.

This is a big improvement from the electric mower I had growing up. I was skeptical at first of a battery powered mower but I was not disappointed. I can cut my entire third of an acre lot with with plenty of battery left. As an added bonus it’s quiet and never need to stop for gas. .

Very good self propelled mower! I mow 1/2 acre using self propelled and it uses 1 and 1/2 of the battery life. Charges fast and is light in weight and fold easily. Does need a cup holder!!

So far I'm very impressed. It has plenty of power and is very quiet compared to my gas mower. My yard isn't huge so I can mow everything with just one battery. I like having the ability to use the self propel feature without the blade engaged. I also like how easy it is to fold the handle down and store the mower vertically. The one handle height adjustment is also pretty convenient.

I've used my new mower 3 times to cut my ~10,000 sq ft lawn (~35min). Cut quality is great (I've only mulched) - much better than my 25-year old gas mower. Battery life is adequate - I could probably do it with a single battery, but end up using 2 so I don't drain them too low. I was surprised the handle is so high and not adjustable - I'm getting used to it but it is problematic for my wife. Due to the steel deck, the mower is quite heavy, so I end up using self-propulsion more than I expected on my somewhat-sloped lawn. Occasionally when I pull the mower back, the drive wheels are locked and I have to tap the drive lever to free them up - happens maybe 10% of the time. My daughter has a plastic deck mower that I find much easier to use due to it's very low weight.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Danschy,
Thank you for your review! We are happy to hear you are overall happy with the lawn mower. We would like to take the opportunity to appropriately address your concern regarding the handle height and moving the self-propelled mower backwards. While the handle cannot physically be shortened, it can be locked into two different positions. One position is more suitable for taller individuals while the other is suited towards smaller users. If you are using the self-propelled feature, the mower will attempt to move forward and will be difficult to move backwards. You would have to release the self-propelled lever to pull the mower backwards while still holding onto the start lever. We hope this information helps you understand our product better. Should you have any additional questions do not hesitate to contact Greenworks at 1-88-909-6756.
