I ordered my Pro 60v 21" mower on August 9th and it shipped almost immediately. I've used it a half dozen times since then, and I'm thrilled with the product. I love that I'll never have to deal with oil changes or gas refills - won't stink up the garage or emit harmful exhaust. The mower can take on the toughest of grass with the Turbo feature, and cuts consistently across the entire lawn. The self-propel feature is useful because it can be adjusted for different speeds. I typically set mine somewhere in the middle and it is a reasonable pace. It takes me about 45 minutes to do the front and back yard, and I usually only use up one of the two batteries during the mow, with using the medium self-propel setting and occasionally turning on Turbo mode if the grass is long in spots. As some other reviews mentioned, the charger fan is a bit noisy, but who cares, really? Plug it in in the garage and it'll have both batteries charged in 30-45 minutes. Storage is easy too, with the mower folding up to take up less space. I'm definitely going to get the trimmers and I'm hoping they'll have a shop-vac that runs on the 60v batteries sometime in the future. Oh - and one last thing - this mower is QUIET! I can have a conversation with someone while it is running without having to shout. I'll never feel guilty if I have to run the mower early in the morning or late at night!

I bought this a month ago, used once and am loving it for now. The only problem am having now is the way battery die before finishing cutting grass

It is important to adjust your mowing techniques to make the most out of the battery life! This unit is advertised as running up to 50 minutes, but it goes without saying that that the harder the unit works, the quicker the battery drains.
Here are a few mowing tips to help achieve the optimal run time.
1) When cutting thick grass, reduce walking speed in order to allow for a more effective cut and a proper discharge of the clippings.
2) Only mow 1/3 of the total grass length at a time - no more. For a healthy lawn, always cut off one-third or less of the total length of the grass. The average lawn should be approximately 1 1/2 to 2” (3.8 to 5 cm) long during cool months, and between 2" to 3 1/4" (5 cm to 8.3 cm) long during hot months.
3) Mow when the grass is dry. As this is an electric unit, mowing wet/damp grass is a safety issue. However, ensuring the grass is dry will also help the grass cut cleanly and discharge appropriately. Wet/damp grass carries more weight and will mostly stick to the blade/motor shaft and will not appropriately discharge or cut easily.
4) Make sure the battery is cool before use. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging.

This all started with the purchase of a Greenworks blower. Which then turned into the purchase of a Greenworks pro trimmer. After that purchase, and realizing the real power behind this fantastic pieces of equipment, I purchased a 21” mower. I couldn’t be more satisfied. I may not have a large yard, but with two 60V 4.0AH batteries, I’m able to mow, trim, and blow everything off and still retain half a battery. This equates to approx an hour to an hour and a half of run time. Better yet, no more trips to the gas station. No more messing with those ever changing gas can spouts, that cause more spills than anything. No more oils mixing or changing. Just two batteries on a charger, and roll. I look forward to trying out more of Greenworks products in the future!

The Kids Can Mow the Lawn!

We bought this after moving and deciding we wanted to care for our lawn ourselves. My brother-in-lawn recommended GreenWorks after his own exhausted research for a mower for their property. We love the battery system which we recharge with our portable solar generator but most of all, the Self-Propelled attribute means my 9 year old can mow the lawn! And even better, his buddies come over to help because they want to run the mower, too! The mower has multiple lawn-lengths, is easy to maneuver and offers varying levels of assist for folks that need a slower or faster pace for their process. We haven't quite mastered the "art" of lawn mowing but these 4th graders keep the lawn neat and mowed weekly which means I don't have to do it! Love it!

I bought this mower to replace a gas mower so in the long term less CO2! This mower has been the hit of neighbors. Many are interested in purchasing their own. I have let them try the mower. We are impressed on how quiet it is and how easy it is to use. Even my grandson (8) can use it. Of course with supervision. If you want a great mower that is easy to use and does a great job in mowing this is a mower to try.

I bought this set a few weeks ago and could not have been happier. Coming from a gas-powered mower similar in size with similar features such as the self-propelled featured, deck adjustment feature, etc.. you absolutely can’t beat the one thing that this mower has over a gas engine, and that’s weight. Lightweight = ease of use = prolonged use. I have yet to test out the duration of the batteries as I only have a tiny 15x10 patch of grass on my front yard(sloped which is why this thing is great!). My back yard is getting a pool put in so I will return and update my review when I’ve got more grass to cut. I’m heavily vested in Greenworks Tools… Mower, blower, edger, inverter, multiple batteries. I have zero regret with the choices I’ve made. Thanks for reading!
