Mower arrived, well packed, minimal time to assemble following well written instructions. Charged batteries mower ready to be used. New yard wouldn't be ready for first cut for several weeks. Yard ready for first cut, started mower began cut when self propelled feature stopped working. Called greenworks they gave me local repairshop for warranty work. Mower still there, will follow up with future review when I receive mower back.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pros: quiet, battery life is great, carry points for lifting the mower, no gas and no oil

I have a small lawn in my front and back my yards. The two 4.0 Ah batteries are provide plenty of battery life and I find myself only using one pack for each mow. The self propelling featuring is great with lots of variability and even allows you drive the mower without the blades on, so makes it really easy to get it back in the garage. I love how quiet battery powered mowers are and it cannot be heard from inside the house. There are two carry points on the mower that make it really easy to lift in and out of the car or over dog fences. My biggest pain point is the suction from the blades, it lacks that little umf that gas mowers have. I’ve found the blades don’t cut evenly because of the suction, but I mow every week so it’s barely noticeable from the street. I also own a Greenworks trimmer, hedge trimmer, and a blower, and this mower perfectly rounds out my arsenal of yard tools.

Excellent mower. Quiet, powerful and works well. Battery time isn’t as long as I’d like but other than that I highly recommend it. I have only had for about 2 months so I can’t rate it on reliability and construction yet.

I bought this a year and a half ago and was very pleased. Then suddenly my self-propelled mower was no longer moving on its own. I called and was given an upgrade. The new mower is super! It's wider (25 inches and moves faster). I am pleased with it but don't care much for the cleaning of this one, but it is a nice mower.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought the 60v self-propelled mower w/2-4amp batteries about a month ago. Our gas model died, and my wife & I figured it was time to make the change to electric. It couldn't have been a better move! We have an extremely technical lawn, with many flowers, displays & installations for our children's memorial garden. Your mower is more maneuverable than my old one, getting in between expensive plantings, but not sucking up anything but the grass. It's kind of incredible. The gas mower would leak air all over, throwing sand and clippings everywhere. This one is so much more controlled, picking the grass up, and shearing it at a perfect 90°. The easy fold handle & very little storage space are just two of the many pluses I found with this unit. We have about one third of an acre, and I use 2-3 batteries/charges to mow it completely. Did I mention our lawn is extremely technical, and I even more fussy?
Even the neighbors have noticed the difference in clipping. I've had two that asked to try the mower because they were thinking of an electric switch over. They loved it! We could actually have a conversation with the mower running! (It's that quiet)
I have an entire garden shed full of gas lawn equipment and winter supplies. I'm looking to my next 60v purchase, and replace ALL of my gas power equipment with Greenworks products.
I guess I'm in real trouble, because I just saw you carry an entire line of powered hand tool, too?! Thanks, Greenworks, my wife isn't going to like THAT news. (but I sure do...new tools!)

Better than expected

Having to pick up for my husband who has become seriously ill, I couldn’t ha for our gas lawnmower on our hilly property, hate touching or smelling gasoline I decided to look into battery options and selected this mower. Not difficult for me, age 72 to put together? Charged battery snd wax off and running. Took a bit to get used to mower pulling me along, once I adjusted was able to maneuver with ease snd it did a great job.
I would recommend this to a friend!
