I'm hoping someone can help me. Rarely do I post like this, but I'm not sure what else I can do. I purchased and received the reference lawn mower (approx. 4 weeks ago). Unfortunately, minutes after opening the box, I plugged in the charger, listened to the fan begin, and then promptly heard silence within seconds. I have send multiple emails and have tried calling several times. Each time I've attempted I get an automated response which essentially suggests that someone will be in touch (email) or to call back because the lines are all busy (phone). I'm frustrated beyond belief because I feel like I have little options. If anyone knows of a solution, I'd love to hear it!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Absolutely love the self propelled mower. So lightweight and easy to use. Literally I can operate with one hand. Love it so much that I bought their weed wacker too!
So far i love it the only reason i am not giving 5 stars is because you have to push forward after releasing the self propel option to get the mower to go in reverse. Otherwise, so far the mower is great. I get about 1/2 out od each charge. I just bought the pole saw also.
Received mower with damage to the box and to the aluminum handle on one side. Had to reshape and bend with pliers in order to get it to fit during the assembly process. Other than that, the mower is definitely an improvement over my gas mower. I'm able to cut both front and back yard (.18 acre) on just one charge with power to spare using the dual batteries. Self propel speed adjustment is great but with a slight delay to react when handle is engaged. The mower is also definitely quieter than typical gas mowers. Time will tell how long the mower and or the batteries will last. Overall I'm glad I can begin to move towards a more green future and minimizing my carbon footprint. Of course having this Greenworks mower makes that transition much easier and even pleasurable.
Just one mowing and I’m pleased with this tool. Easy to use controls, no pull-starting, no fumes, no spilling gas, no spark plugs, no changing oil.... Just pop in the batteries and go mow with a quiet, clean machine. I have a .3 acre lot. — The first battery emptied and the second one was left with a 50% charge when I was done.
Mower was easy to assemble. User documentation was good. I have been using this new mower for two weeks. I am mowing every three days. I live the self propelled capability. It takes me a little over one hour to mow my lawn. Never had a battery failure.
First the things that I wish I could change. > For me assembly was difficult for the handle. The side with the cable was assembled poorly and almost impossible to slide into the metal part of the handle. Once I got it in the cable obstructed the hole where the bolt to secure it goes and I have been unable to move it. Greenworks told me to remove the handle and try again, NO! > The rear drive wheels are hard and pretty slick so the slightest tough lump or slight hole leaves the rear wheels spinning instead of gripping and pushing through. > There are no intermediate height settings, only full inch increments. If you need 2.5" or 3.5" cut length you won't find it here. > It has online warranty registration and I can't get it registered because I bought it direct, had to convert the email invoice to a pdf, but then the online registration rejects the off as too large despite it being about 1/3rd smaller than they say the maximum size is.
OK, maybe the gripes are petty, and I am living with them and I give the mower 4 stars for being great otherwise. I'll work around my dislikes. If two of the above items were fixed I probably would give it 5 stars.
I got this mower a week ago, and I look for excuses to cut the grass. I bought this based on the reliability of the 80V Greenworks snow blower, trimmer and hand held blower I have. I had another manufacturer’s push 58V mower, and this self propelled one is better in all aspects. Very comfortable handle position, two batteries make using it a dream. The cut is very impressive without using the turbo mode. Sucks up clippings and leaves for a nice clean lawn. I also like the one handle height adjustment as I keep my front and rear yards at different heights. It’s also nice that it comes with a high lift blade for fall when the leaves fall. I am so happy I decided on this 21 inch mower, love the way it folds for storage freeing up shed space. I highly recommend this mower for anyone looking to switch from gas. Waiting on delivery of the new 700 CFM 60 v blower.
