I've now used both the 80v mower with 4.0AH battery (MO80L410) and this new dual-port 60v mower with 2 x 4.0AH batteries. The first time out on the 80V, it wasn't able to finish the entire lawn on a single charge. The second time out, it barely got it all done, likely a grass length issue, but I was in the market for a second battery so I wouldn't be stuck with a half finished job. While shopping for a new battery, I stumbled upon this mower and figured the dual-part automatic switching was exactly what I needed to ensure I could mow my entire lawn without having to stop in the middle and mess with batteries. My first time out, I was able to complete the entire lawn on a single battery. The second battery was available, and it could have used a little bit, but I can't tell for sure, and when the job was complete I put both batteries on the charger, but the second battery indicated full. I'm extremely happy with the batter performance, and having the option to have the second battery in the mower, ready to switch, is great peace of mind. As an added benefit there's plenty of juice left over to use with other tools, such as trimmer, blower and edger. All of which will be a lot less unwieldy with a 60v battery as opposed to an 80v. I'm very happy with the 60v mower and will be getting more 60v tools for this platform. I have a 1/4 acre lot for reference.
Further comparing the 80v unit to the 60v, this one has the updated handle and control cluster. I can start the mower with one hand, which was nice while I was holding a gate open. The self propelled engagement is quicker and smoother on this 60v unit. Overall the 60V mower was much more pleasant to use, it was smoother, lighter, and a breeze to operate and manipulate. It's just the small things, like raising and lowering the handles, that makes this mower a nicer owner experience over the currently available 80v mower.
The only question I have, is, can the LED lights be turned off? I feel it's an unnecessary drain on the battery to have the lights on in the middle of the day.
They have no support for warranty. We received our lawnmower broken. It will not self propel. We have made numerous phone calls to them after waiting 36 min to talk with someone, they gave a number to a repair center 300 miles from us. We called 5 times left messages for over a week with no call back. This company support sucks. Don't buy from them.

We own this mower for less than a month. So far so good. Hope it will keep this way for a long time. I wish Greenworks had service in our area, for peace of mind.
I consider myself "traditional", if not "old school" and always purchased gas powered equipment. However, the Greenworks Pro 60V Mower (and the rest of their tools) have moved me into the modern age! After the first 10 minutes, I asked myself why it took me so long to change. Lightweight, capable, well-thought out design such as the Turbo setting for particularly high grass, and the adjustable speeds that actually match a normal walking pace put this mower above the rest. I have a mildly sloped lot that takes about an hour to cut. After my first use I still had power to spare. On my second use, I used the Turbo option quite a bit because of the grass thickness and it STILL had power to spare! I am a Greenworks convert, and have a variety of 40-volt lawn tools as well. I just can't say enough about this product. Perhaps most importantly, my wife used to help me mow to lessen the burden. as it was exhausting using my single-front-wheel-drive gas mower, but before I finished the first cut I "officially relieved her of her grass cutting duties". That is perhaps the greatest benefit of all!! Thank you, Greenworks, for doing this right. Enthusiastically recommended!
