Always bought outer box cases from iPhones but this particular model was not for me. It has no protective grips on the side and it can slide out of your hand easily. Outer box needs to improve this model and the step up design choices are very limited

Color Deceptive

Typical, solid Otterbox case. Good quality, nice and slim. But, this is NOT Navy. Definitely a lighter shade of blue. Reason for 3/5 stars. Misled on shade of blue.

I am happy that I purchased this iPhone 12 Symmetry Series+ case with MagSafe. In the past, I always purchased the heavier Defender Series. But, I decided to try a lighter case this time around. I am pleased with my new case. It is just as strong as my old case. I have unfortunately already dropped my phone without any cracks to the phone.

Not Navy Blue -- Not sure what blue it is

It is definitely not navy blue. I was expecting a navy blue -- the pictures show a navy blue. Instead I'm not sure what color that is. The sides and the "grippy parts" are closer to the navy blue color, but are more like a dark purple in tone. The case functions as advertised and is nice to have, as it resists most every day drops. I also miss the texture. The non-MagSafe one has a the classic Symmetry texture on the back (helps a bit with grip and looks super nice). It is also great that they come with Anti-microbial, which during these times of COVID-19, gives you more peace of mind.
Fix the color to match the image and I will change my review to a 5 star. It is a bit disruptive. So, go with the black or another color if you were expecting a dark navy color skip it. If you don't care and just wanted a blue case, the blue isn't bad. It looks good with the regular blue iPhone 12 (I had this one and then exchanged it for the Pro) -- the Pacific Blue iPhone 12 Pro doesn't look as good against this blue.

The otter box cases are solid! I upgraded my phone and purchased a different case from another supplier. The case looked great, but felt flimsy. I had an otterbox case on my previous phone and it was great. What was I thinking?!

I bought this case because the manufacturer's case kept flipping the silent mode switch when it was in my pocket and I've had good luck with Otter Box cases in the past. Great news - the problem with the case flipping on the silent mode case no longer exists. My only complaint is the MagSafe does not hold my MagSafe wallet as well as the manufacturer's case. I don't know if it is because of a weaker MagSafe system and/or the Otter Box case in not quite as tacky as a silicone case.
