Needs more color options

I have used Symmetry cases through all of my iPhones and have loved them. Good size, weight, texture, protection, but not too bulky. However with these MagSafe compatible ones they only come in a few boring colors, plus a pink. I wish there were more that looked nice with the purple iPhone I have. I switched back to my non-MagSafe teal colored one just for the look of it. I wish this one came in that same teal color or a complementing soft purple!

I always buy Otterbox cases for my iPhones--they are the best protection. I wanted to get double colored commuter series this time, but unfortunately just didn't love the colors available at this time. But I found another series with colors I liked. My only complaint is that I wish they would have more color options (and mixes) available for each of the types of cases. And they need bright, fun colors. Even professionals want to be able to spot where they left their phone easily.

Spring Snow Beige gets filthy fast

I was looking for a case cover that would better distinguish my phone from the rest of my family members. However, the Symmetry in Spring Snow Beige has a matte finish to it, compared to the black in this same case, and therefore immediately picks up all sorts of scratch marks and dirt. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been a fan of Otterbox cases since they began, and I've had one on every phone since. I would have purchased a Defender but bought the Symmetry case for my daughters iPhone 12 because it's MagSafe compatible and the Defended isn't. Why can't Otterbox figure out how to make a MagSafe Defender case? The symmetry does the job, I guess, but it's clearly inferior to the Defender. By a lot. Also, the Symmetry is shipped in an envelope, not a box and by the time mine arrived...well let's just say it had been "pre-tested". The packaging inside was seriously crushed but the case survived. I guess it saves Otterbox money to do it that way. Again, meh.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sturdy as usual

Just bought this case, loved the colour. Only down fall for me was now plastic screen protector . I get that you can buy the alpha glass, but I liked when it had the protection for the screen. Paying the same price and getting less just seems like money gouging . A lot like how apple didn’t include the charger for the phone. Just so much gouging going on these days . I hope otter box goes back to giving full protection for the phone , and not at an extra cost .

Actually, our streamlined Symmetry Series has always left the device display uncovered while still allowing the optional use of a screen protector. Perhaps you were recalling our Defender Series, which used to have a built-in screen protector, though it no longer does for the iPhone 12/12 Pro model.
Regardless, we're sorry you were left feeling a little flat. You mentioned the Alpha Glass, and we do have some other screen protection options as well, but unfortunately, a return to the inclusion of such a component for any of our cases is unlikely, as the ever-increasing size of touchscreens has dictated the need for an updated approach to balance protection and performance.

Color not as imagined or looked like online. Wish it was dark like the photo, that’s navy look.
Instead looks more blue blue if that makes sense. Anywho great product but no digging the color, should have stuck to black.

I am happy that I purchased this iPhone 12 Symmetry Series+ case with MagSafe. In the past, I always purchased the heavier Defender Series. But, I decided to try a lighter case this time around. I am pleased with my new case. It is just as strong as my old case. I have unfortunately already dropped my phone without any cracks to the phone.
