Thermistor problem occurred. Support offered a hotend replacement, but it takes 15 businesses days to deliver. I’ve committed for a very important project and now can’t fulfill my obligations

DOA - Creality support is no help.

Do yourself a favor and do not buy this. Check Reddit and their forums. The Creality Ender 5 Max has bunch of issues which are made worse by the fact that Creality's chat support and email support will tell you to do the same things over and over again.
I assembled this printer on 06/13/2025 and it was getting stuck in Self Check. I had to adjust the incorrectly installed x/y limit switches to get past part of the Self Check but after that the printer throws error key 2069 which forces self-check to restart and continues in an endless loop that prevents me from getting into the actual printer menu.
I have been told to check connections, update firmware, and reset to factory settings MULTIPLE times, which I did on the the night I assembled it and spoke with chat support.
Creality support has asked me send videos, pictures, screenshots of my order, detailed descriptions and after receiving their replies I do not think they actually read my replies or watched the video I sent. After five days of back-and-forth, they continue to repeat the same suggestions without acknowledging prior steps or progress, which makes me question whether they even track cases properly.
Creality support is so bad that any potential or attractive features on the Ender 5 Max is undermined by their ineffectiveness. Stick to one of their competitors.

Dead on arrival and support was zero help

Bought a brand new Ender 5 Max that was dead on arrival, LED light would turn on, but the screen wouldn't. Contacted support and after getting a single response each day for five days they sent a new motherboard instead of a screen. Replaced the motherboard and still had the same issue. Complete waste of 2.5 weeks of my time.

I am impressed! I purchased this printer last week, assembled it and started printing. It is extremely fast and the print quality is really good. I just wish the enclosure kit was for sale

Huge machine obviously

Huge machine obviously. I got mine with an enclosure and nebula cam. Besides having to put a lot of tape on the bed to level it out it’s been a good machine so far. No issues except for it’s so darn big. Hard to find a good spot on a rack to put it. It towers over my other k1 machines and I’m pretty sure I can fit a k1 inside it if I wanted to.
