I ordered within the first hour of release and recieved the printer 4 days later. Pretty fast from California to Louisiana. Print was easy to assemble and instructions are detailed. Takes 15 minutes if you're mechnically inclined. Setup and starting are what you would expect from recent Creality printers. Prints super fast and well to boot. Bed heats in record time as well. Now for my issues. Color printing in Creality Print causes my Ender 5 Max to crash after swapping filaments. The firmware appears to be rushed and not polished compared to my Ender 3 v3 Plus. NO ROOT at the moment which is probably the biggest let down by far. Feels like Creality rushed this printer into the market . No reviews on Youtube not many articles detailing specs, but still for the price is an amazing printer. Still do not regret buying it. I will change my review when root is available.

Got this day 1, pretty good printer. 4 stars because I had to contact support for firmware, but I managed to get root once I got ahold of it. Also realized that my printer shipped with firmware that was pre-release, so some quirks were immediately fixed. Working with the SimpleAF firmware people to get it ported to the Ender 5 Max for a more mainstream experience

TLDR
Prints quality: Great and would be better if I got the enclosure
Reliability: two 22+ hour prints no issue and 15+ prints w/o fail
Assembly: 2hs and I didn't hate it.
Good for single spool printing and supports flex materials.
Wiggles a bit from high speed but I don't mind.

Issues
Wont connect to the Cloud
Other slicers don't have profiles ready
Creality Print only has two profiles for .2mm and that's it.
I'm trying to purchase the enclosure after the fact and I can't find it anywhere in the store.

Recommendation
Get the camera and enclosure. Worth it IMO and I regret not getting them.
If you don't want to be a beta tester, wait a while before purchasing.

Very fast and excellent print quality. I use a printer for business - developing prototypes, products and fixtures for use in my engineering consulting business and I need the printer to be reliable, easy to use and fast. Bambu X1c is my first printer, and has fulfilled this. I needed a larger printer and the Ender 5 is fast with CoreXY, and it has been easy to use, FAST and great quality for my first 5 prints (in service 1 week). Reliability is yet to be seen.

This Machine is a beast. Is it perfect no but it is a joy for me to use. The firmware issue is a problem but Creality is busy I know but please get just regular supplies to be available getting many hours of print on machine needing supplies. Hardened nozzle to complete print capabilities. Great machine will get better with better Support . easily one of my favorite machines.

It’s a sexy beast

I wanted a large printer without all the extra features. I have to say, this machine has performed surprisingly well. I've been using it for two weeks, and not once has it produced a failed print. The manufacturer has truly stepped up their game with this one. It's a fantastic printer!

It prints well but is very loud. I would like to get the enclosure or other accessories but they are virtually impossible to find. Tried a few tricks on wiki to reduce noise but no luck. Hopefully more accessories and options are coming. Love the ease of setup. Print bed space is awesome. Don't regret the purchase.
