I use HR Block program every year. It's relatively easy to use. I like that it carries forward a lot of info from the previous year. There is one place where it kind of leaves the user in limbo as to where to go next. Don't remember where.

I have used H&R Block software for years and I'm very satisfied with it. The only thing that I wish they would do to improve it for me would be to have a means to skip itemized deductions when you know your going to use the standard deduction.

I received the software early and many many topics are not ready. I downloaded all the updates, but even after the final update was sent. Additional updates became available after I had already sent in my taxes. Updates need to be more timely and earlier in the tax season, so people can submit their taxes as early as possible.

Very disappointed that my credit card was charged 3 times because your program imported the last year code for free federal EFile took me a minute to figure out the re submitted and it went threw but there were 3 State E File charges on my credit card I’m disputing these charges but I shouldn’t have to! Your program shouldn’t do that!! Turbo tax might be the best will see
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Printing from software not exactly user friendly

Printing your full return or even just the pages for IRS has been impossible to format for several years. Even if you go online to chat rooms on how to - it does not format to fit on standard 8x11 sheet per form. Not user friendly to select “fit to page” formatting
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
