I've bought the software for several years and largely enjoyed it, but this year's was SO glitchy. It was frustrating with direct deposit and ach payment options disappearing among other things... I may go a different route next year.

I purchased H&R Block 2025 Deluxe + State Software to install on my W10 computer. Taxes are done. The question I can get NO HELP for is: I want to duplicate my federal tax return and give the copy another name. Then I would have TWO identical returns within the program--the original I e-filed and do NOT want to edit and another identical one. My intent is modify to numbers in the copied one to see how my taxes change.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product seems to get a little weaker every year with respect to letting you know what it is doing and why - especially with regard to State returns. Fixing the Verification Results was also more difficult than it should be - as some flagged items are hard to find on the underlying forms/worksheets. I might compare to something else next year in order to know if it is still the best choice for me.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like the program but was disappointed to find that it does not print Form PA-40X when when preparing a PA Amended return. It will only print the PA return with the Amended block checked. The Pa Dept. of Revenue requires that Form PA-40X must be submitted with the PA Amended return to be properly filed. The program does not let the filer know this.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
