Works well except for a glitch with state taxes.

The program works well, especially if you had Block previously. One major problem is the NJ State program, and maybe others ? does NOT exempt Railroad Retirement Pensions from the state tax. NO STATE is allowed to tax RRB pensions. I have to do a "work around" to fix this program error.

HR Block Tax software guides through the process and is easy to navigate. The help dialogs are helpful. Also, Block software can still run on Wimdows 10, unlike Turbo. I tried Turbo for a couple years because a situation which caused me to have to hand-write a note on the form and mail it in using HRB was better handled by TT where it wrote the notation for me and I could efile it. This year, that situation no longer exists, and since TT won't run on Windows 10, I went back to HRB. I prefer using HRBlock.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

The software is too expensive for my tax, and I have to pay separately for online state tax submission. It does not make too much sense. Not good.
