There are a few changes/issues with this product. Overall it does a good job of calculating your taxes however you should be aware that not all 1099's are imported (those from annuities, at least in our case were not.) In addition the feature to compare married filing joint vs married filing separately was removed in the 2025 software.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Generally good. I’ve used for several years. I liked its ability to download info from brokerage website. I struggled with the Net Investment Income Tax form; in the Q and A interview Block asks about investment interest which is a separate line on the form. No questions exist for investment EXPENSES, if I choose to add them manually to the form- override in Block terminology- it tells me I cannot electronically file. This should not be the case.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very difficult to load both my wife’s accounts and my accounts separately from Fidelity and Schwab. Then when done loading, finding out I had to do manual entries… thought your software should handle it as TurboTax had done for me in the past.
