I've used H&R Block software for more than 20 years and am satisfied with the ease of use and features. I especially like the availability of audit support in case of an IRS audit even though I've not needed it.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

I've used the product several years. I was disappointed this year that your updates did not include the ability to import 1099 information from Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, so I had to enter all sales and cost information manually for stock and bond fund sales. It did import Fidelity, but most of my transactions were at Merrill Lynch. I understand TurboTax made those updates this year.

Always use H&R for family taxes. This year had to do 1040 manually because of no access to schedule 1-A.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

Hard to use to!

I had to purchase a tax program that was compatible with my computer. H&R was the one I found on line. I usually use Turbo Tax which I have used for 5 years. This tax program was less than what I was used to. I tried to complete a proper return three times.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!
