We had several problems with this software. The assistance people helped a lot, but most of the problems should have been able to been taken care of via the software. We're still unsure that everything worked properly, but the fed tax people accepted it, thankfully.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First time using H&R Block tax software. Switched from TurboTax as it no longer works with Windows 10. Imported my previous year TurboTax file with no problems. Found the H&R Block software easy to install and use. Only thing missing was the direct comparison to last year numbers at the end of each section.

It's OK, but probably my last using.

Honestly, I was disappointed this year and will probably be my last year using this product. Been using this software for years, and it feels like the same software just barely updated for each tax year. Contained numerous bugs(data field issues, false audit warnings, etc) and missed opportunities to pre-populate additional information or provide a recommendation/choice to skip unnecessary interview steps based on previous years returns wasting time and effort re-entering data.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
