Great software but need reminders for State return
on March 23, 2026

I bought the software about a month ago to do my taxes. I’ve been using H &R taxes for many years. It always brings over all my income over from the previous year. Federal taxes were completed with no problem. When everything was transferred over from last year it didn’t bring over my military retirement tax exemption for the State of Virginia. I forgot about this exemption and submitted my taxes to the state. About an hour later I remembered the exemption and had to do an amendment to the State. I had already sent the State $2100.00. Now I have to wait for the amendment to be looked at to get my money back and what I actually get back from the State.
