I have been using this product for several years. My only complaint is that I have to pay extra to e-file my state return. It is actually more product than I need, but I think the others do not do all that I need them to do.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

I had to immediately file a 1040-X Amended Return as your software incorrectly treated my 457(b) income reported on a W-2 as an annuity and subject to the 3.8% Net Investment Income Tax. All previous year returns, the software treated this 457(b) income correctly and not subject to NIIT but not your 2025 software.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents

You missed an additional capital gains tax, a new form and tax, on my Maryland state return, resulting in an incorrect return and corresponding reduction in my refund. If you were doing your job professionally and responsibly this should not have happened. It will inevitably make me think twice about using your program next year.

We have used this expert system for years. Much better than others with ease of import from previous years data, keeps tract of business assets depreciation, and online data imports, and context sensitive help. Only frustrating aspect this year was US Government’s delay in being able to accept updated forms.
