I've been using the software for years, even before the name change from TaxCut. It's easy to use and I'm very satisfied with it. I especially like that I can import my information from my investment accounts directly which saves me time filling out all the appropriate lines on the return.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I've been using H&R Block Tax program for many years. I was disapointed with the performance this year. The state program updates caused many problems. Intergrating the state with the H&R Block program was not good. It was so bad, that I am reconsidering if will continue using H&R Block software in the future

A software issue raised a month ago still has not been corrected. It prevented e-filing of the federal return. The fix should have been easy because it was correct on last year's software.

First time user of this tax software. Have to say it’s not the greatest. It did not have a way to download financial information from Merrill Lynch or Bank of America. Really. Pretty bad.
