There was a bug this year that populated boxes from other forms. This made filling out forms more time consuming and required more double checking than should have been.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

Overall, effort went well. The one complaint I had was visibility on calculations, like why only so much of an amount was tax deductible or taxable. Usually computed in a worksheet, I was unsuccessful in finding the worksheets. This lack of transparency is an undesirable aspect of the program. If the software does allow these calculations to be pulled up, the program fails on an ease of use.
Pros: Easy to prepare

I've been using H&R deluxe for a number of years. The carryover from previous year is very helpful as it saves time and provides placeholders for needed optional information. The accuracy checks are also very helpful for missing information needed.
