Total nightmare!

Worst experience of my life. After 12 attempts I finally got my federal return submitted, I still have not been able to get my VA return to go through. Been using the software for at least 10 years do I’m familiar with every aspect of the product. HRB software is a “total” failure for 2025. Run the other way!
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Last year, the software didn’t take into account that I took my RMD in late December so it miscalculated a penalty for not filing quarterly reports. The IRS corrected the mistake and sent me a check for nearly $700. I hope that HR Block has corrected the software for this year

There still too many questions that you cant get good answers to even with the AI assistant. A couple of time i have to go on GOOGle to get an answer, and they usually take me to Turbo tax page to get it.
