1) I bought the software early, but later I go a card in the mail for a much cheaper price since I've been a long time user.
2) For 1099B the software is no longer able to download stock sales from ML.
3) Did like the 1040X help. Never needed it before.

I have been using this program for years & really like it.My only objection is that it prints the schedules included with the 1040 even if they are not needed. Or, in my case, I printed the return that I was efiling & then added my direct deposit info & just wanted to print that single page because everything else stayed the same. The only option was to print the full 9 pages.
Pros: Easy to prepare

While this product will enable you to do your taxes, it is clearly not as intuitive as TurboTax, especially when navigating between topics. This was reported by other users on previous year's programs, I should have taken those observations more seriously before purchasing the 2025 version.
On several occasions, I had to use ChatGPT to tell me where to find resolution to certain issues as the H&R Block help feature wasn't properly guiding me.
There was one issue with having to enter investment income 1099-C, which definitely required assistance from ChatGPT to locate the proper form to report. Another issue was having to revise the amount of refund to be applied to next years taxes after editing a revised 1099 A and B. Certainly program needs some polishing.
Further comments, does not readily create 1040 ES with actual dollar amounts, despite following the "interview." But if you chatgpt.com it will direct you to a convoluted process to print with dollar amounts. Also fails to automatically print out required federal forms for paper state submittal. Note that last year's turbotax readily did both. All this caused needless time and caused much frustration.
I'd say using it is clunky at best. I'd be using Turbo Tax if it weren't for Intuit's requirement to install Windows 11, which I do not intend to do.
