Crucially, after years of doing so, your software no longer supports imports of 1099s from Merrill Lynch. Has I known I was going to have manually enter so much data I wouldn't have purchased it. Also the UX is really old fashioned and tips along the way are cryptic. Last time I ever use Taxcut.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

I have used H and R for five years. This year, I had trouble finshing and filing my Federal form. The program kept wanting me to enter the amount of social security income I received. I have never paid into nor have I ever recieved any income from SS. After end\tering zero income on the correct form, your program still failed to accept and continue on to finish. I finally ignored and filed anyway.
