The product isn't as good as it was a couple years ago. It use to be more clear, more explanatory. It also has some misinformation. I had to go to IRS website twice to see if something applied to me.

Less expensive than Turbo Tax. However could include large banks like Chase and wells Fargo etc to import data via login.

Overall it worked well. There were not as many issues with identifying stocks that were downloaded trades from my brokerage accounts as in prior years. One company did not download but manual entry was not difficult. For the second year in a row there was an error in Oregon state taxes. I received my refund very fast but for a different higher amount. Then received a letter later showing the difference. Both last year and this year. Both times the refund was adjusted higher and not by a large amount.

I purchase this program every year. But, this year, the download was not great. I could not import any of my 1099 information (B, R, etc). I ended up inputting it manually and the purpose of getting this program is the ease of importing this information so I know all the numbers are correct. I'm a bit leary about manually entering 1099's.

Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
