I've been using H&R Block tax software for a number of tax seasons now and it's always easy to use and delivers accurate results in a minimal amount of time. I especially like that it imports the prior year's basic information (Address, SS#, marital status and the like) saving me from re-entering data.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

I have been using H&R Block (Tax Cut) for years. It is dependable, accurate, and welcomed advisor. Explanations of complex IRS rules and regulations are well explained. The only thing I would like to see is maybe summary page of all the forms. An example would be like capital gains I was not sure it picked up previous years loss carryovers. Having a printable summary page of each form or group of forms stating gains this year and loss carryover would be helpful to review. Same for charities, etc.

I had been using H&R Block Deluxe for over 15 yrs. This year H&R Block Deluxe 2025 Software is terrible. I can not submit PA state filing using e-file. I have to print it out and send it by mail. The issue is the software keep checked the check box for Social Security distribution and keep saying I need to enter the amount. I am still working and not receive any Social Security money. I call the custom service for help but they can not help me except they tell me to print it out and send it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
