Been using H&R Block software for many years. I believe it is much better than the “other” software, which I mistakenly purchased a few years ago. If you could improve my data entry mistakes - that would be helpful!!

I switched from using the online version to the desktop version. I found the online version very frustrating. I found the desktop version easy to use. In addtion, the desktop version let me check some entries on the forms to make sure I answered the questions correctly. This is a solid tax package. I intend to use it again next year. 4 stars-- I'm not sure anyone is selling a consumer package that I'd give 5 stars to.

As usual, it went pretty well. However I found it impossible to print for filing.The final “Print” click was below the screen and I spent hours trying to reach it. Finally I opened the individual forms and printed them . One PA state form was marked “Not for Filing” but I had to file it anyway.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
