Very Good Tax Program. Have used H&R Block software for many years and experienced many positive improvements.Importing last year's taxes is a time saver but do make sure to double check all your information - you may have moved, etc. There are some sections with wording that needs better definitions for the user. The AI was moderately helpful, saved a phone call or two. Saving regularly while filling in information may save you some headaches in the event you accidentally close the program. E-filing is very easy.
Overall, I'll use H&R Block again, next year.

It changes a lot this year. Did you change the programmer? A lot of things are not reasonable and cannot bypass. Eventually ends up with unable to e-file. A lot of things a minor and can be override if you know the tax reporting mechanism. But this year the stupid programming change all these and make them unable to modify. You guys need to improve them otherwise no one will use it next year even you have it on sale. Just give you a couple instances here such as IHSS income, foreign address.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare

I’ve been using H&R Block tax software for probably 15 years, and it’s always been great until this year. This year’s release had a terrible bug that destroyed my confidence in your software. I am not sure I will use it again. I need software to be rock solid. Basic stuff like not wiping out data that I entered and miscalculating my tax as a result.
