They had many years to get it right, but haven't

The integration of CA state return and Federal return is poor, requiring user to manually enter worksheets that could easily be transferred by the software. The pdf printout of the cover page for Federal return always cuts off the bottom last line of page 1, rendering it illegible; it should be transferred over to page 2, which is largely blank.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

In contrast to previous years I was not so happy with this years edition.When I wanted to import all the info from my Ameriprise account's the program crashed. I tried a couple of times- same result. I tried to find a contact# or similar but ended up in canned QA that had nothing to help with. I started added manually all the info, a few days later there was an updated and lo and behold it then work. Summary: there should be a clearway to provide input, and questions about rather trivial action do not work, and waste of my time.

I’ve been using your software to prepare and file our return every year since it was developed. (The only exception was the one year H&RBlock erroneously decided not to make it Mac compatible!) It gets the job done. Now my adult kids buy it to file their own returns.

Download of 1099's from Merrill Lynch was NOT offered this year. Hopefully Block will get it together in 2026.
All else was good. Had the Merrill problem downloaded, I would have given a 5 star rating.

Overall, it worked quite well, leading me easily from one area to another. The only issue I had was at the conclusion, the review indicated a couple of errors. I could not figure out how to correct them. Whatever I tried, I was told I could not do. At some point, the errors must have been corrected but I have no idea as to how. Other that that, it was easy and almost effortless.
