The tool that compares filing jointly to filing separately for married couples does not work properly. The tool did not apply the deductions appropriately and said we would get more back filing jointly, but in fact I got back over $500 filing separately.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

This is such an excellent program, that I wish others could check this out and see for themselves. I use it every year, and I love it. They thought of every possible way to answer any questions and be extremly helpful.

I've been using H & R Block software now for the past 10 years to do my taxes. It is extremely easy to use and understand. I don't think I'd ever consider using anything else.

Great Program

I love this program. I've been using it for years. The only thing I would like to see improved is the Rejection Notice when return is rejected from IRS. It explained that my Payer's Id number did not match. It said "make sure you check all copies of form 1099-R" Would be nice if you explained how to do that. it kept giving me the first 1099 which was right, I finally figured out how to go to the other ones. Just some explanation would be nice.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Hard to fix issues
