I had this HR Block software downloaded over the internet. All went well with the download.........
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Hard to import

I received all of my tax forms and input everything into the program. The process took me about 20 minutes from start to finish. Since then, I have e-Filed and received my refund!

I have been successfully using H&R Block tax software for our personal returns for well over 10 years now. The programs are well designed and user friendly. If you prepare your receipts, etc. in advance, and take your time going through the "interview" process, it is absolutely possible to prepare and submit even a relatively complex return. No reason to pay more for another program, or to pay a professional preparer unless you have a significantly more complex tax situation.
