I've been using H&R Block tax return software since 1997 (Tax Cut), and it gets easier and faster every year.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import, Fast

Used to use TurboTax. Then gave your software a "shot" You have the easiest interface in the tax software world. Keep those programmers on the payroll.

2017 H. R. Block Tax Software

I'm reasonably happy with this software. I've used it for several years. It's easy to install...never experienced any problems. It appears to be accurate, based upon verifying the 'high' level numbers with my source documents. However, I not to happy that I paid more for the 'advanced' copy of this software that I received in Dec. 2017. As it turns out I paid more for this advance copy than I would have paid if I would have waited until Jan. 2018 (got a second, unsolicited copy in the mail). That kinda' made me a little mad. Won't make that mistake next year.

I have been using this software for many years and continue to be impressed with completeness and ease of use.
I volunteer to help prepare tax returns for others and the software they make available is not nearly as easy to use as the H & R Block software
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Easy to import
