I have used H&R Block Deluxe for about 20 years. The 2026 version seemed to be overly complicated from what I remember from past filings.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

I have bought HRBlock for years, but this year I was disappointed. When I entered a 1099 and finished, it would have me enter a new 1099, but then go to the income entries, At the end I needed to go in and type all the 1099 info

Called help desk because your software would not let me submit my PA state return. It said I needed to attach a document to complete. Person at help desk said I would have to contact the state to determine what this was about.

when entering my estimated payments I was not allowedveve to enter amount on line 26 and I ended up paying an excesive amount of tax due and I was not allowed to put down info for a refund and it has created a real nightmare.
